三星於今(29)日發表2017年J7 Pro手機，價格不用1萬元，專攻學生或小資族群，雖然是手機支援Samsung Pay，但持有信用卡的學生恐怕不多，三星強調，Samsung Pay未來可能支援儲值卡，並且綁定會員卡也非常好用。
三星表示，J系列手機一直都是走親民與實用路線，在5000至10000元價格區間的手機，在2016年與2017年1月至5月，J系列都在銷售前茅，相當受到大眾青睞，消費族群則是16歲至22歲比重較高，符合產品設計目標。
Samsung Pay首次納入J系列手機，三星說明、雖然納入新功能，但價格沒有提升，讓手機CP值更高；然而16歲至22歲的消費者較少持有信用卡，三星對此回應，未來不排除加入一卡通等儲值卡功能，方便使用者通勤使用。
三星為了增加年輕族群認同感，設計虛擬人數「J森」，以及夥伴「溫妮」、「常勇」、「何美」、「油頭II世」，一起體驗J7 Pro，消費者可以追蹤IG帳號「jj 94cool」，就能看到有趣照片，同時分享給好友一同歡笑。
